Storytelling Trip to China

April 13-25, 2008 Trip to China

____
I traveled with nine other storytellers to China to learn about storytelling in China. A special treat for me was that my daughter who is an Accupuncturist and storyteller in her own right came with me.

We visited Beijing, Guizhou Province, and Shanghai. While there we met with folklorists, professors of folklore, a publishing company, and community storytellers, attended a Dixi Opera, The Legend of Kungfu, and The Chinese Acrobatic Show.
